Leeds is an extremely popular University City, famed for its vibrant nightlife. Leeds's vibrant student community are lucky to have some of the best night outs in the country on their doorstep.
One of the funkiest nights out in Leeds, HiFi is a club situated underground which really adds to the incredible atmosphere that it is famous for. With dedicated student nights almost every day of the week including FunkSoulNation and The Sunday Joint, HiFi is the number one place for everything jazz, soul and just general good-feel music!
Another underground club with an incredible atmosphere, Bierkeller is a Bavarian style chain where beer is served in two pint stein glasses and dancing on the wooden benches is not only permitted, but encouraged! Another club that guarantees you a really good time, they also have bingo and karaoke nights that are sure to generate big laughs and some fantastic memories.
Mission is one of the biggest and most popular clubs in the whole city. It features three main dance floors all with various types of music and vibes. It is mostly known for its house music though and everyone is aware of the big student night ‘Mission Thursdays’ which is a weekly event on the calendar of many students. Situated just a stone-throw away from many other popular bars in the city centre, Mission is a great place to go if you are having a few and then decide you want to boogie!
Beaverworks is a huge Victorian warehouse outside of the city centre that has now turned itself into one of the most famous nights out in Leeds. All throughout the year, Beaverworks hosts the best DJs from around the globe which often sees students from all over the country flock to one of these events, not just students in Leeds. Even when there are no specific events on, weekends are always lively with four different rooms for you to weave your way in and out of.
The Warehouse possibly best represents the classic Leeds night out: big dancefloor, house music, CO2 jets, lasers and just great tunes. As well as the main floor, there are two smaller ones that overlook it which is pretty unique to Warehouse. Sometimes they bring in DJs for specific events, but what Warehouse is most famous for are the student nights such as Sticky Feet and being very close to a selection of takeaways when you are ready to call it a night!
